Trending Topics: Grammar Slam! - [a case of the summer]

Well, I was originally planning on doing a follow up of last week's Trending Topics discussion about the Rutgers Grease Trucks (Good news!  Here's a more detailed and optimistic article: http://www.nj.com/middlesex/index.ssf/2013/08/after_21_years_in_one_location_rutgers_grease_trucks_may_be_harder_to_find_this_fall.html), but then I came across the absolutely hilarious CM Punk Grammar Slam videos, provided by Nerdist for YouTube's Greek Week.

Those of you who follow Punk on Twitter know at least two things:  (1) he doesn't mince words, and (2) he's a stickler for grammar.  These videos focus on some of the most frequent errors, such as "Your" vs. "You're," "Than" vs. "Then," "Literally" vs. "Figuratively," and the always popular difference between "There," They're" and "Their."  And he does so with a great deal of zest and vigor (and Lewis Black-level anger)!  Absolutely brilliant stuff.  As an English major, I truly appreciated all of these rants.

Check out all of the videos here (be sure to hit the "Playlist" button at the bottom):
