Be sure to click below for my LIVE thoughts on the season finale of The Walking Dead.  Obviously, spoilers are within.

10:01 - Rather, rather, rather intriguing finale.  No major deaths (which I'm not complaining about, I like pretty much everybody) and the entire episode focused almost exclusively on the same four people.  We didn't really see any of the reunions we were expecting (primarily Rick and Carl with Judith, and Rick and Daryl's reaction to seeing Carol).  It was unexpected, but also exhilarating.  But man, did anybody else expect Rick to open that door and get shot at the end?

And boy, was my heart racing after that episode ended.  But suited, beardless, British Rick has grounded me.

9:53 - I was initially going to criticize the fact that these guys had so much trouble killing Rick and the crew, until it became obvious that they were running them into a trap.  Only 5 minutes left....wondering how this all ties up.  Do Rick and Carl get reunited with Judith?  Daryl with Carol?  Interesting story they're telling here.

9:45 - And Checkov's Gun comes into play here.  Flashback Herschel mentions Glenn having his watch, and the watch comes into play in the present.  Very interesting.

But Rick totally should have enjoyed some BBQ before pulling his gun out on somebody.

9:37 - I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised we're seeing a group-centric episode for the finale, instead of seeing what everybody is up to.

9:27 - Oh, so THAT'S why he's shaking.  Makes sense.

9:24 - By the way, if I were to choose three people NOT to mess with, it would probably be Rick, Michonne and Daryl.  Rednecks had it coming.

9:21 - So Rick went from mega bad ass to disturbing fella in the span of about two minutes.

9:15 - By the way, I'm also getting that these flashbacks will show Herschel's attempt to bring Rick into the farming life, in their joint effort to "save" Carl from losing his own humanity.

9:12 - Very, very interesting.  And what happens next?  Obviously, one would assume that Daryl emerges and attempts to clear things up....but nonetheless, Rick and Michonne both have guns to their heads and they're outnumbered.  How will they get out of this situation?  A well timed walker invasion?

9:03 - I wonder if there's any significance behind Rick's shaking hands.  I noted this a few weeks ago, when he was hiding under the bed.  You rarely see Rick so visually rattled.  Also, an interesting opener -- doing a flashback to a seemingly inconsequential day in the prison.  Intriguing.

8:53 - Okay, no promises that this'll actually be updated all too often.  If this season finale is as exhilarating as the past few have been, I expect my eyes won't be off of the television all too much.  So, let's see how this goes.
