WrestleMania 25 Predictions

Ahh! I am so late right now for a party, so this is going to be immensely condensed. That's probably a good thing for those of you who think I babble too much anyway. So here we go...

Triple H vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship): I'm actually going to go on a limb and say Triple H wins here. To tell you the truth, I actually think he SHOULD win here. If the feud was about the WWE Championship, I'd go with Orton. But since they decided to make it personal, the good guy should win here.

Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show (World Heavyweight Championship): Let's be safe and go with Cena.

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker: Match of the night, and should go on last (but it won't). Also the best build in recent history. Undertaker wins.

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio (Intercontinental Championship): Should have been CM Punk vs. Mysterio. I say JBL retains, so that a heel keeps a belt.

Miz/Morrison vs. Carliot/Primo (Tag Title Unification): Miz/Morrison.

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy: Matt wins.

Chris Jericho vs. Legends: Comes down to the last legend (probably Steamboat) and Mickie Rourke interferes to help them win.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match: I say Christian wins, and then interrupts a Jack Swagger promo later on in the night. He cashes in his title shot, and wins the ECW Championship.

25 Diva Battle Royal: Comes down to Trish and Beth Phoenix. Glamazon cheats to win.

Enjoy the show!

What did you think? I was overall pretty disappointed (except for HBK/Undertaker which was better than I expected, and I expected a very good match), especially with the main event. Regardless of whether you think Orton should have won or HHH should have won, that match was booked all wrong.

I didn't get to view the show in a linear fashion, so I don't feel that I can fairly judge the overall flow of the show (I got home at 10:00 to see the main event, then watched the replay before falling asleep within the first few minutes of the World Heavyweight Title match).

I thought the Money in the Bank Match was one of the better ones, with some pretty innovative spots. I'm also glad that they didn't go TOO overboard with the competitors almost killing each other. I thought it told a good story as well, with the two power guys constantly clearing the ring but ultimately being incapable of nabbing victory.

Undertaker vs. HBK was absolutely incredible. Just epic stuff. Both of these are just so great at what they do that they seamlessly did the face vs. face battle, without either having to turn. Just awesome.

I agree with you that the WWE Championship match simply wasn't very good. Then again, I'm really just not that into either guy.
